Join us today for a live presentation by Silly Safaris!  A Silly Safaris LIVE Animal show is the perfect blend of fact and fun. Silly Safaris keeps the entire audience involved. Special guests from the audience join each animal for a game that teaches about the natural world. You'll see a variety of reptiles, mammals, birds and bugs for an experience everyone will remember. Teachers and Families love Silly Safaris, teens enjoy our hip cultural references, and adults try to catch our comedy.

Come howl to musical comedy for the entire family when Henry County Public Library presents Tom Sieling's "Tromp through the Swamp."  Sieling performs humorous songs about our natural world that engage the whole family. His performances are participatory, fun, lively and informative. Sieling writes and performs songs for children and adults and accompanies himself on guitar, banjo, harmonica and a drum machine. All songs include parts for the whole family. Tom will be performing at 11AM and again at 2PM this Wednesday, June 9th.  This program is free and open to all ages, but space is limited.  Call the library for more information at (502) 845-5682.

The 2010 Summer Reading Program is underway!  This year we have programs for all ages and interests, plus reading contests for kids, young adults, and adults!  Check out our calendar for a list of events.

 The library will be closed to allow the staff to observe Memorial Day.  We will resume regular hours on Tuesday, June 1st.
