Special Election Update

A special election has been called for this December 13 and the library will be a polling place as usual.  Due to the proximity of this election to the election held last month the library will attempt to be open for regular business on the 13th from 9 AM until 5 PM.  In order to comply with state regulations, the following measures will take place:

  1. The entrance facing Eminence Terrace will be the only point of entry to the library on that day and the outside entrance to the meeting room will be the only point of entry to the polling station.
  2. The double doors to the middle of the building will be locked such that entrance from the outside will not be permitted.
  3. No electioneering will be permitted within 300 feet of the polling station, which includes the entire library property.

Should we determine that the library cannot be open during this special election we will do our best to inform you immediately.
